Today I was lying with my significant other on his bed, face to face, sleeping. He had his outer arm around me and I had my palm resting on his cheek. In between our bodies we held hands. He said, “this is so nice.. don’t you agree?” And I said, “I do.”

We’re all stuck in these tiny little boxes we call houses, sleeping too much and crying too much and hoping too much and lying too much. We’re stuck in these even tinier little boxes we call rooms, pink walls and blue walls and cream walls and patterned walls. We do the same tiny little things every day, we eat and we stretch and we yawn and we pray.
